Education policy
The objective of this research area is to work collaboratively with those responsible in making public policies to improve teaching-learning processes. These in turn cause repercussion in a sustainable development which take into account the people? capabilities and needs, in particular those who live in poverty.
Design, implementation and educational program evaluation are found in this line of action that can be repeated at a larger scale.
Field experience
Work done in conjuncture with municipal, state and federal governments in programs focused on sustainable social development. This means to promote the effective distribution of public services which will empower local capabilities.

Know how to read, know how to write.
The Ministry of Education of the State of Nuevo Leon hopes to improve the educational quality in the schools that received the lowest scores in the ENLACE test. To accomplish this, the Ministry of Education established an agreement in collaboration with Harvard University and with ViaEducation to design, implement and evaluate a reading-writing program in the 100most relegated schools of the state.
The objective is to improve the teaching practices and give follow-up to the implementation of the program, with the goal to evaluate its efficacy and later on to reproduce it in other places.
